In this episode of Keep Moving Forward I interview creators and hosts of the “How Was Your Run Today?” podcast, Peter Villa and Bryan Gould.

 

Today I would like to thank all of my wonderful listeners for tuning in and staying with me for almost a full year! On this very exciting Wednesday, I invite you to celebrate the release of my 50th episode. To take part in this excitement with me, fellow podcasters and athletes, Peter Villa and Bryan Gould, are my featured guests. These two comedically inspiring individuals model their lives based upon the truth of their own advice: “you only regret the runs you don’t go on.”

 

Understanding the pang of remorse you feel when you don’t pursue a daily goal is something I’m sure we can all relate to, and putting it into the context of something as relatable as a run makes it even more real. Spurned by a love of running, a love of talking, and a love of talking about running, Bryan and Peter launched the “How Was Your Run Today?” podcast in 2015 and never turned back. Using their own running experiences as the basis for each episode, Peter and Bryan quickly expanded to featuring other runners on their show to broaden the scope in which they relate to their audience. The reach of their message and the real enjoyment they bring to their listeners grows every week, and I am honored to have had the chance to speak with them.

 

About midway through this episode, my dog unfortunately begins barking and I had to leave my desk to put him up. My initial intention was to delete this portion of the show, however, while editing I discovered that Peter and Bryan just continued to talk while I was away, and it was too good not to leave in. So while I apologize for the yipping of my little dog, I hope that this episode’s added bonus of the banter of Peter and Bryan simply adds to your podcasting experience.
