While comical, Dwight Schrute certainly makes a valid point. Why should you be afraid of the daily challenges you face? What credibility do those obstacles have to illicit any kind of fear within you? They don’t deserve to have a hold over you, so don’t give them the kind of value that would allow them that power.

It’s ludicrous to suggest that you can simply force fear out. The fear will always be there. No matter what you do, those daily fears will be present in your mind. But instead of allowing them to cripple you, use them. If the fears are always there, then every day you have a choice to either use them to fuel you forward or to let them derail you from what you are called to do.

Make those challenges feel foolish for daring to face you. You have more power than you know.
