As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.

-John F. Kennedy-

It’s easy to sit behind a computer screen and write a few seemingly profound words; to speak into a microphone and feel that you’re changing the world by putting some audio content out there; to fall into the trap that you are progressing the needle forward when you’re actually afraid to put yourself, and subsequently your brand, out there in a real way. Don’t get me wrong, the Keep Moving Forward podcast means more to me than I could ever accurately put into words. Having the opportunity to speak with individuals I only ever dreamed of talking to is indescribable, and I am grateful for this chance every single day. But for everything I’ve spoken, everything I’ve written, every plan I’ve meticulously crafted within the confines of my Google Drive, I’ve never implemented anything beyond my blog and my podcast for those athletes in transition…for all those in a transitional phase of their lives.

Yes, creating a podcast is doing something; yes, writing a blog post is doing something; but as far as doing the something that will break Keep Moving Forward out of the box I’ve placed it in, I have yet to succeed.

So, here is hoping my own story helps you. I have determined to no longer simply utter my words of progress, but to sincerely live by them. In the past few weeks I’ve taken strides to step out of my comfort zone, take leaps, take bounds, and try and put Keep Moving Forward out there in a way it has not been before. And that is the way it should be. Constantly in the pursuit of pressing onward, failing forward, and succeeding greatly.

Let’s do this…let’s keep moving forward together.
